Helambu is mainly inhabited by Sherpas and Tamangs.
This area is of a scenic beauty and pleasant climate as well as a long history of Buddism,culture and ancient tradition.
Vieuws of mt. Lantang,mt.Shisapangma,mt.Gauriskar and Panch Pokhari can be seen along beautiful flora andfauna.
It’s the ideal place for a short trek.

Trek Cepang Hills 

2000 m. (3-4 days)

A newly developed trek in the chepang hills.Situated between the Trisuli river and Chitwan.
This is the perfect trek for wintertime, sept. to march, because it doesn’t get so cold. It has everything to offer. From wildlife, tiger, leopard, monkeys etc. Birdwatching, up to 250 species. Chepang tribes who are still nomadic.
The highest peak in Siraichuli is 2000 m. From here you have a spectacular view not only on the Himalayas but also on the Terai lowlands and rivers.
This trek is not as overdeveloped as Annapurna and Everest.So it gives you a better chance to see the real Nepal.
We can start from Hugdi Bazar and trek south to Shaktikhor, from where we take you to Chitwan and Sauraha. Or we take you to Shaktikhor from Sauraha, trek to the north and from there we can either go to Pokhara or Kathmandu.
We stay at simple teahouses on this trek .Don’t expect pizza or sizzlers. This is Nepal as it once was.

Different Nepal trek CHEPANG HEUVELS 2000m. 3 tot 4 dagen

Een nieuw ontwikkelde trek in de Chepang heuvels. Gelegen tussen de Trisuli rivier en Chitwan .Dit is de perfecte trek voor de winter, sept. tot mei, omdat het niet zo koud wordt. Deze trek heeft vanalles te bieden. Van wilde dieren (tijger, luipaard, apen enz.) en wel 250 soorten vogels. Chepang volk wat een nomadenbestaan leidt.
De hoogste top in Siraichuli is 2000m, vanaf hier heb je een spektaculair uitzicht,niet alleen op de Himalayas,maar ook op het Terai laagland en de rivieren.
Deze trek is niet zo overontwikkeld en uitgebuit als annapurna en everest.Dus je hebt een grotere kans het echte Nepal te zien.
We kunnen starten in Hugdi Bazar en zuidwaarts trekken naar Shaktikhor. Van daar worden we naar Sauraha.Chitwan gebracht .Of we doen het andersom. Van Sauraha naar Shaktikhor, trek naar het noorden en van daar op de hoofdweg naar Pokhara of Kathmandu.
We overnachten in simpele theehuizen op deze trek. Verwacht geen pizza of steaks. Dit is Nepal zoals het eens was.

Chitwan National Park

5 days including a 3 day junglewalk with the possibility of more

Chitwan National Park was declared Unesco Natural Heritage site in 1984. It’s 932 big. The park includes high grassland, salforest, hills and lots of lakes. It’s overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers. This ecosystem offers a wilderness that has mammals ,birds ,reptiles and wateranimals as well as an abundance of plants. The highlights are the 408 Asian one horned rhinoceros and some 65  Royal Bengal tigers. But you’ll find as well monkeys, deer ,leopard, gaur, wild pig, dogs and cats. Not to mention the slothbear. Reptiles such as python,the endangered gharial crocodile and the march mugger crocodile.
It’s an area full of local and migrant birds.
The experience of hiking in this park is unforgettable .Especially if you spot some wildlife. And this chance grows with a couple of more days hiking. The further away from humans the better.
You will be accompanied by a professional guide and his assistant, to assure your safety. Every night you leave the park at a different place (no one is allowed in after sunset)and next day morning you enter again
This trek can be done all year exept for may-june (too hot) and july-august (too wet).

-Day 01 Transport to Sauraha,Chitwan by tourist bus.You will stay at Jungle Wildlife Camp,where you get explanation about the jungle trek and will meet your guides.  In the afternoon a visit to the elephant breeding center.

Day 02 After breakfast we start with a 5 km canoe ride and then go hiking in the   jungle until 5 pm. Cross the river where you spent the night in a simple lodge outside the park.

Day 03 Again river crossing for another day enjoying and hiking

Day 04  Like day 3,but every day different

Day 05  After breakfast you’ll return to Sauraha, or you decide on more trekking.

Different Nepal Jungletrek in Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park is in 1984 uitgeroepen tot Unesco Natural Heritage site. Het is 932 vierkante km. groot.
Je vindt in het park hoog grasland en verschillende types bosland ,heuvels en een heleboel meren. Het wordt omgeven door het stroomgebied van de Narayani, Rapti en Reu rivieren. Dit ecosysteem biedt een diversiteit aan wilde dieren een thuis. Zoogdieren vogels, reptielen en waterdieren en een uitbundige plantenwereld.
Hoogtepunten zijn ontmoetingen met een van de 408 aziatische eenhoornige neushoorns of de Bengaalse tijger, waar er ook nog zo�n 65 van rondlopen. Maar ook de apen, luipaarden ,wilde zwijnen, honden en katten. De verschillende hertensoorten en niet te vergeten de slothbeer .Reptielen zoals de python, de bedreigde gharial krokodil en de moeras krokodil.
Het is een groot vogelreservaat, waar de soorten per seizoen wisselen.
De ervaring om in dit park te trekken is onvergetelijk, vooral  als je wilde dieren kunt zien en die kans wordt groter naarmate je langer loopt. Hoe verder weg de mensen hoe meer kans op dieren.
Je wordt vergezeld door een professionele gids + assistant, het gaat per slot om je veiligheid.
Elke avond ga je op een andere plek het park uit(na zonsondergang is het verboden terrein )en de volgende ochtend weer erin.
Deze trek kan je het hele jaar doen ,behalve in mei-juni (te heet) en juli-aug.(te nat)

-Dag 01 Vervoer naar Sauraha,Chitwan met toeristenbus.Je verblijft in Jungle  Wildlife Camp,waar je meer informatie krijgt over de jungletrek en je de gidsen gaat ontmoeten. �s middags een bezoek aan  het elephantbreedingcenter
-Dag 02 Na het ontbijt begin je met een boottocht van 5 km. en start van de trek .
Op het eind van de dag steken we de rivier over om in een simpele lodge te overnachten.
